Backgammon Premium is the top-rated Backgammon game on the App Store. It offers a comprehensive online experience with background match-making and two different ways to play online: turn-based gameplay or live games via Game Center. Building on this historical foundation, Backgammon Premium offers six visually pleasing and diverse board designs: Egyptian, Roman, Medieval, Victorian, Modern, and Classic.
The game also includes two classic variations: "Old English" and Nackgammon. "Old English" is currently the most popular variation in England, while Nackgammon is a more challenging variation that adds greater creativity and skill to the game.
In addition to its online capabilities, Backgammon Premium supports local multiplayer through Bluetooth Peer-to-Peer support. This allows you to play with your friends over Bluetooth without needing an internet connection. The game also offers single-player modes with three difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, and Hard.
Other notable features include match support, allowing you to play to 3, 5, 9, or 15 points with Doubling, and the use of the Crawford Rule. The game also provides move-assist functionality, which highlights available moves and unlimited "Undo" in single-player games. Extensive game statistics are also available for players to track their progress and performance.
